The Ceramic Tiles is part of a covering system for wall and floor, which involves several procedures and professionals. On one side the manufacturers, the distributors, the constructors and architects as well.   On the other side are the consumers. To improve the integration between these sides, the Cerâmica Sumaré follows the ABNT  (Brazilian Association of Technical Norms) norms:

The technical norms for ceramic coverings are grouped in three sets as follows:

a)     NBR 13816 – Terminologies;

b)     NBR 13817 – Classifications;

c)     NBR 13818 – Specifications and Methods.

The above-mentioned norms were based on ISO 10545 to 17 and ISO 13006, which contemplate the same aspects of the Brazilians Norms.
